How I got here.
My yoga journey started many years ago when I was involved in the fitness industry as an aerobics instructor and a gym owner. I decided to undertake my Ashtanga yoga teacher training a little later in life, more for a challenge as well as something for myself. I did not set out to teach yoga after the course, but after gaining a greater understanding of yoga and seeing the differences it made to my mindset, I decided to put myself out in the world and teach.

For me yoga is a never ending learning experience about yourself and the world we live in. There is so much we can all learn about the ancient practice, so I try to fuse old yoga traditions with our modern world, within my class.

Building The Yoga Space has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I've ever done. There have been moments of doubt — the imposter syndrome that no one warns you about — but there have been far more moments of connection, of watching people leave a class a little lighter than when they arrived, of learning as much from my students as I hope they learn from me.
That is what keeps me here. This work matters because it taught me how to navigate modern life with a little more calm and a little less anxiety. I want to pass that on.
Breathe. Strength. Fun.
Those are the three words I'd use to describe what a class with me feels like. Every session is rooted in breath — it's the thread that connects everything we do. But I also believe a good class should leave you feeling genuinely stronger, and occasionally make you smile.
My classes are designed for everyone. Whether you've never unrolled a mat or you've been practising for years, you will not feel out of place. The most important thing is that you feel included — and you will.
01
Breathe.
The foundation of everything. Breath is what connects movement to mindfulness, body to mind. Every class begins and ends here.
02
Strength.
Not just physical. The kind that builds quietly over time — in the body, in the nervous system, in how you meet the world on a difficult day.
03
Fun.
Yoga doesn't have to be serious. The best classes are the ones where you leave a little lighter than when you walked in — in every sense.
