Paying attention—on purpose,
in the present moment,
without judgement.
What is mindfulness?
More than a buzzword.
A practice.
Mindfulness is not about clearing your mind, relaxing, or thinking positive thoughts. It is the simple — and surprisingly difficult — act of paying attention to what is actually happening, right now, without trying to change it.

That sounds easy. In practice, most of us find it remarkably hard. Which is exactly why it is worth learning properly — with guidance, in a structured way, over time.
The course
Structured learning.
Lasting change.
Mindfulness is most powerful when practised consistently over time. That is why the core offering is course-based — giving you the space to build a real practice, with support at every step.
01
Eight-week course
60–90 min sessions · group or 1-2-1
The core programme — eight weekly sessions that build on each other progressively. Each week introduces a new theme and practice, with home practice to deepen the learning between sessions. The most thorough way to establish a genuine mindfulness practice.
02
Four or six-week course
60–90 min sessions · group or 1-2-1
A shorter format for those with less time or who want to explore mindfulness before committing to the full programme. Covers the essential foundations in a more condensed way — still structured, still effective.
03
One-to-one sessions
In person or online · flexible timing
Private mindfulness sessions tailored entirely to you — your schedule, your pace, your goals. One-off sessions are also available for those who have already completed a course and want to continue their practice with ongoing support. Delivered in person or online.
The Approach
Rooted in evidence.
Human in practice.
Mindfulness teaching at The Yoga Space draws on the Mindfulness Now approach, a framework that brings together the best of evidence-based mindfulness traditions in an accessible, practical way.

Sessions are warm and grounded. You will not be asked to sit in silence for forty minutes on your first session. You will be met where you are, and guided gently from there.

You don't need to be calm before you arrive. You just need to show up.
